 What started as a small quaint farm in 1880, when the lumber business in Elmvale was thriving, has transformed into what we now know as Sunny Meadow Farm. Run by Sunniva herself since 1991, with the help of her daughter Tatiana and adopted grandfather Ed, the trio aim at sharing their beautiful family farm with you!

 

Come and visit the 100 acres of woodlands, hayfields, pastures, and barnyards. You will not be disappointed with this unique traditional style farming experience.

 

Food that is currently bought from your local grocery stores can be heavily processed, but Sunny Meadow Farm provides an ideal location for growing our healthy, nutritional food, free from chemicals, pesticides, and herbicides. The soil is pristine and unspoiled since the farmland hasn’t been worked since the 60’s.

 

During your visit, you can expect to see a variety of livestock in our mixed farm. Complete with cattle, sheep, goats, geese, rabbits, chickens, turkeys, ducks, guinea fowl and of course our family cats and dogs.

 

There is plenty to see during your visit! Along with our livestock, we have two deer runs over the property, wild turkey, raccoons, wild birds and even an occasional bear – the whole Canadian wildlife experience!
